Filmed on this day were the opening titles, featuring dancers spelling out the show’s title with their bodies. The choreographer was Matt Mattox. Marianne Faithfull performed Noel Coward’s ’20th Century Blues’, and Bowie sang ‘Sorrow’.

It was filmed at London Weekend Television’s Studio 3 at the South Bank Television Centre in London. Nick Barrett was the producer and Mike Mansfield the director. The show was broadcast on 20 January. The interview and ‘Drive-In Saturday’ were released on 2002’s Best Of Bowie DVD.
