David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at Lewisham’s Odeon theatre on 24 May 1973.
It was the 120th date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January 1972.
The venue opened in 1932 as the Gaumont Palace cinema, reopening in 1962 as the Lewisham Odeon. Other acts who performed there included the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, the Clash, and the Specials. The building was demolished in 1991.
