Live: Library Gardens, Bromley

David Bowie performed a solo acoustic set at Bromley’s Library Gardens on 13 September 1969.

The event was an open-air festival, at which Bowie was also compere. The event, organised by Geoffrey Bradbury, was inspired by the success of his recent Beckenham Free Festival.

Around 1,000 people attended. The other acts included Maya, Comus, Gun Hill, Aslan, and Puckles Blend.
