David Bowie and the Buzz performed their only two Scottish shows in early April 1966.
The first was on Sunday 3 April at the Palais in Dundee, followed by a show at Hawick Town Hall in Hawick on 4 April.
The Buzz were unable to afford hotel accommodation, so after the Hawick show they began the long journey back to London. Their manager Ralph Horton drove their converted ambulance, which functioned as a tour bus.
