David Bowie performed at the Birmingham International Arena in Birmingham, England, on 6 June 1983, as part of the Serious Moonlight Tour.

It was the 14th date of the tour, which began on 18 May in Brussels.

Bowie’s guitarists were Carlos Alomar and Earl Slick. Dave Lebolt was on keyboards and synthesizers, and Steve Elson, Stan Harrison, Lenny Pickett played saxophones. Carmine Rojas played bass guitar and Tony Thompson was on drums and percussion. George and Frank Simms were the backing singers.

This was the second of two consecutive nights at the venue, which was renamed the NEC Arena in September 1983. The setlist was the same at both shows.

Bowie returned to the NEC on 19 and 20 March 1990 during the Sound+Vision Tour; 20 and 21 November and 13 December 1995 for the Outside Tour; and 19 and 20 November 2003 for A Reality Tour.
