David Bowie performed at the Close Up Planet Festival in Curitiba, Brazil, on 31 October 1997, as part of the Earthling Tour.
It was the 75th date of the tour, which began on 7 June 1997 in Lübeck, Germany.
The festival took place at the Pedreira Paulo Leminski. Bowie topped the bill at the event, which also saw performances by No Doubt, Erasure, and Rita Lee.
Bowie’s guitarist was Reeves Gabrels, and Mike Garson played piano and keyboards. Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass guitar, vocals and keyboards, and Zack Alford played the drums.
