David Bowie appeared on the German TV show Für Jeden Etwas Musik (Music For Everyone) on Monday 11 November 1968.
He performed one song, thought to be ‘When I Live My Dream’, and was accompanied by his manager Kenneth Pitt on the trip.
David and I shared Room 14 of the Hotel Cristallo, Hirtenstrasse 20. The following morning we were picked up and taken to the studio, where David performed the mime routine and sang one song, for which he received DM 2000 and, in addition, DM 566 for his expenses.
