The Konrads performed several times at Justin Hall, part of Ravensbourne Art School in West Wickham, Bromley, in 1962 and 1963.
There were regular Friday night gigs at the venue, but this one took place on a Thursday. Entry was three shillings and sixpence, or one shilling for members.
In 2018 a demo recording by the Konrads was put up for sale by Omega Auctions. The promoter of the show contacted the auctioneers, telling them: “I put that band on in ‘63, still got the poster somewhere I think.”
Believed to be the earliest David Bowie concert poster in existence, it was auctioned on 11 September 2018 with an estimate of £2,000-3,000, and sold for £6,600 ($8,600).
