I’ve noticed an uptick, lately, in the amount of free education being provided by AMS vendors. This is a promising development, as any real and useful information (i.e., not advertising) is welcome.
Here are just some examples of vendors providing online education, very often for free. These are in no particular order, and I welcome other vendors to list their educational opportunities in the comments section.
- TMA Resources is offering free videos weekly under the rubric of Association Tech News (which is general information) and their “Connect Plus” program which is more product-specific. (I was featured last week on Association Tech News.)
- MemberSuite is providing free webinars on research that they’ve been conducting in the association market.
- Avectra has been providing white papers and webinars for some time.
- Aptify is putting on a webinar about member engagement and intends to expand these offerings in the future.
Again, this is just a sampling of what’s available out there. Educating the market is always a good thing, and I’m happy to see the AMS vendors providing this kind of information.
