Recording: Hello Stranger, Duke Of Earl, Love Is Strange

Davie Jones and The Manish Boys had recorded three songs for Decca Records on 6 October 1964. Six days later they re-recorded them.

The sessions both took place at Regent Sound studio at 4 Denmark Street, central London.

As on 6 October, the band recorded three tracks for a planned single: versions of Barbara Lewis’s ‘Hello Stranger’, Gene Chandler’s ‘Duke Of Earl’, and Mickey & Sylvia’s ‘Love Is Strange’.
